If you just click on the map before setting your pin, it will default your location to the ocean location. I have gone in and manually changed a bunch of members but it is so easy to do more keep appearing. Its easy to correct if you notice it but a good portion of the members who have it pinned out there aren't too active. In my profile, the pin on the map is off the coast of Africa () instead of in Chicago, IL. Why is this, and what can I do to fix it?
I think this means you haven't set your pin yet because your pin doesn't show up on the "Master Member Map."To add a pin, go to your profile and under "forum profile," find the United States and place your pin where you want to.
BTW, we have a couple of misplaced pins on the big member map. I didn't realize a couple of our members lived in the Atlantic Ocean!![]()
I still have my iPod Video 30GB from 2005. It still works great imp.Talks about irony imp!
Hi everyone.. I really apologize for not being on last night at all cuz I went to bed at 7:30 and woke up at 5 AM and still tiredInteresting day! I remember my close encounters with lightning. Good times
My first day was awesome socially and terrible procedure-wise. Lightning struck the school and caused power to blink and the fire alarms were in chance of going off as they reconnected the system, the lightning struck the electricity at the portables. Ironically I was almost struck by lightning three years ago from yesterday but was in an outside environment
Not necessarily with pricing but support and feature wise HostGo has fallen behind. I personally believe we can get a better bang for the buck and more reliability elsewhere. Their support has been slow and unresponsive at times, their servers have been hacked and our site has been modified as a result. Some time ago their servers were hacked and our forum and site index pages were changed to some arabic site with hate related content. Downtime on their end has resulted in corrupted databases and files. We have put up with a lot, I would like to see what other fish are in the pond. I am extensively researching alternatives. Our hosts plans are not competitive with other high ranking hostsWow, really? Unless you're not with HostGo anymore, I find that hard to believe.
I'm somewhat surprised this hasn't been named TD #7 yet, it's been sitting at a 90% chance for several hours now.Quite a few people including many mets agree.
Andy and Tavores, La Niņa is only one factor among many to consider. The dry air and wind shear can be found locally in patches and will never completely vanish. La Niņa conditions only means that it's more likely there will be more favorable conditions for hurricanes, but note that it's only a probability, not a guarantee.SAL has been rather pesky this year as well for tropical development. Would you say any more than usual?
Martin, intensity is the most difficult forecasting problem in a tropical cyclone forecast, so I'm just reinforcing it with more emphasis. I don't mean to offend anyone. I'm glad you all are a more educated group as I've had to struggle explaining these things to the normal public.Oh I thought someone had mentioned it and I missed it. Sorry bout that. Yes intensity is about as accurate as a blind man bowling.

They needed to start doing this long ago. About time they startedPillars in SDmainly because they shrink the picture and move it up when the big LDL is on.
Do you like your Corolla? A friend of mine is thinking of getting one.
I drive a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora, and I LOVE it! It's got better features than my mom's 2002 Chrysler Sebring
Corolla is a decent car. Not frilly or anything but its a good car. I'll be trading it in probably sometime in the near future. They tend to keep good trade in values thankfully.
A friend of mine just got a 2010 Corolla not long ago and it's pretty nice, I was surprised at how much room was in the back seat, I'm a fairly big guy and I sat back there very comfortably.
I've been thinking about getting a new car for myself, I change cars as often as I change computers...Although this time I'm trading in the soccer mom SUV for a sports car. It's either going to be an Audi S5... http://models.audiusa.com/s5-cabriolet
or a BMW M3... http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/content/vehicles/2011/m/m3coupe/default.aspx
Thank you.No problem. I changed the title of this topic because I don't want people freaking or anythingSorry.
