I was driving home this evening and some  pulled in front of me and I had to run into the curb. Lost a hubcap! I ended up taking a walk tonight found it 

People are stupid.  I don't trust anyone on the road but myself.  You've got people like the one Martin dealt with, who think it's cool to pull out in front of you.  You got people who don't go the speed limit (which REALLY gets me), people who don't stop at a stopsign.  People who don't go on a green light.  NOT USING A SIGNAL!!! (I hate this), people who stop when turning right on a green light, people who don't yield (they stop at the line) when turning left on green.  Need I go on..

To those who don't drive yet; when you do drive, PLEASE be smart about it. 

Patience and confidence are probably the two biggest assets you need for driving these days.

Rather interesting...

THE MEAN MOTION IS 270/11...BUT IGOR HAS BEEN WOBBLING A LITTLE TO
THE SOUTH OF THAT VECTOR. IGOR IS MOVING INTO AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE
THE STEERING FLOW IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY DICTATED BY A LARGE
LONGWAVE TROUGH OVER THE WESTERN ATLANTIC...AND THE HURRICANE IS
EXPECTED TO RESPOND BY TURNING TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST WITHIN THE
NEXT 24-48 HOURS. SOME OF THE GLOBAL MODELS INDICATE THAT THE
TROUGH COULD FLATTEN A LITTLE BY DAY 3 AND ALLOW THE SUBTROPICAL
RIDGE TO BUILD WESTWARD...BUT AT THIS TIME THERE IS TOO MUCH
DISAGREEMENT TO INDICATE A WESTWARD TURN IN THE FORECAST.

That system sure developed quickly after leaving the African coast.   Well, this season is not far away from reaching the normal climatology values, and we still have a couple months to go.

Google maps?  I assume you are referring to recon data or something?

Thanks so much for posting! I would love to see a shot of the marine forecast if you ever get a chance to snap a shot of it. I really appreciate you posting this and keeping us updated

From the current projected paths, I am seeing another Danielle or Earl. It's like deja vu.

Its a bit north of where Earl was when it was in this area. Perhaps a Danielle?

The IS 2 looks great! It's out where I live now, and I think Jim's narrations are really good. At first I thought it was a little strange, but they are definitely sick (meaning totally awesome). I love those "old" icons too.

I know I'm not the only one that sees an HD STAR in a place other than Nashville, right?

Yep its creeping out into other places slowly! If you can get pics/video we would love to see!

WITH A VIGOROUS TROPICAL WAVE AND ASSOCIATED LOW PRESSURE ABOUT 400
MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS ARE GRADUALLY
BECOMING BETTER ORGANIZED.  IF CURRENT TRENDS CONTINUE...A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION COULD FORM DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS THIS SYSTEM
MOVES TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.  THERE IS A HIGH
