Just had the most amazing time at Phoenix! The KISS concert? It was AWESOME! Phoenix has officially become my dream city... who cares about the hot weather that happens there.
Glad you enjoyed your concert!! :) I went to one myself on Friday. I saw Sugarland and Little Big Town.  I like country music :P

Oh, it was just a thought since I've only seen this happen on sites hosted by hostgo (like this and TWCC).
Typically when you saw an error occur on both TWCT and TWCC there server they host the MYSQL software is not connecting. At times they are doing backups or other work. It can cause some problems

The server has been pretty unstable lately. There are often connection problems.
That's likely just because of HostGo's incompatibility with message boards. Not really fixable. But I haven't seen much of them recently.
  Huh?

A message board is simply a php webpage that accesses a MYSQL database. Not much more than that. I don't understand what you mean by incompatibility?

It's always like that. ;) You've just gotta be patient at times.
Really? Even lately? There are occasionally database errors at certain times. I thought performance has been decent

Everything Else TWC / Re: Microsoft Surface Debuts on The Weather Channel
« on: September 25, 2010, 10:22:08 PM »
Wow, they're actually talking about the whys of weather! Haven't seen that in years. The female anchor is terrible, though. And are the iPad and table really necessary? Would viewers think any less of them if they read the questions off a much cheaper cue-card?
They are trying to be more relevant with viewers using "hip" devices. I think its neat to see them incorporate stuff like this and as long as the general theme is weather and it is not interfering with svr weather I am all for it :D

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Time Warner Cable vs. WFAA-TV/Belo Corp.
« on: September 25, 2010, 10:09:31 PM »
Ok lets make a template for every station dispute that ever occurs:

1. Cable company A wants more money
2. TV Station doesn't want to pay
3. TV Station runs ads, and tells viewers that cable company is evil and bad
4. Cable company says TV Station is selfish and hurting viewers
5. No agreement is made until less than 24hrs before the cutoff date
6. A "last minute" deal is made saving everything
7. Nobody cares
Unless I've gone mental, you've got 1 and 2 reversed...the station wants more money, cable co. doesn't want to pay.
Ive gone mental! :P

Oh. They increased memory for me too. It didn't help. :)

This is my 200th post!

Do members really have to post their post counts if everyone can see it on the left side? it becomes very annoying.

Some people take pride in their post counts and enjoy celebrating milestones.  I know I do, and, obviously, I'm not alone.
An occasional post in celebration of a posting milestone is certainly acceptable. TWC and Apple 4eva did no harm and made sure to include his message with something relevant to the topic. Those who were in the wrong were the ones commenting on if it was acceptable or now. Report a post if you think it goes against forum policy or should be removed.

Back to the discussion, traffic has been working for me.

Just a friendly note, please do not create new topics like these to just to test posting and emoticons. They will be deleted by the administration team. ;) Thanks!
Like me? :P I probably wont end up deleting it just yet so that our friend will see the responses and know better in the future ;)

1. Space your words. (Neworleans, LA isn't being recognized as a city)
2. Obviously you are not a TWC Meterologist
3. I think the forums are working. No testing needed.  ;)

From what I can tell it seems to be a user made weather thing over at
http://backyard.weatherbug.com/profile/AndrewJamesEllinghausen

It is against the general ethics of this board to impersonate someone and while this doesn't really qualify I will edit that part out. If someone signed up as NickWalker then that would definitely be impersonating.
