Please post any comments/issues/errors here regarding the performance of the site and forums. I personally have noticed things are a bit snappier (especially in the afternoons). Searching on the forums is blazing fast for me. I thought the slowness with that before was the size of the database. As mentioned before we are still maintaining our old host for 1-2months so your feedback is important if you think we should go back

I believe it's because we're using the www prefix now, and the forums want to make sure you have it there, in the event that you didn't before.

Doesn't seem to be an issue now.

I removed it Sorry about adding the www to it. I was tired that evening haha!

This NEVER should have been a TS. Technically I think the center was just leaving Cuba when it got upgraded. The NHC is being bullish with it. Listen to their own words:

"THE CENTER...WHICH WAS NEVER VERY WELL DEFINED...HAS BECOME UN-TRACKABLE AND THIS WILL BE THE LAST NHC ADVISORY ON THIS SYSTEM."

Yet the first advisory clearly contradicts this SURFACE OBSERVATIONS AND SATELLITE IMAGES INDICATE THAT THE LOW
PRESSURE AREA OVER THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA HAS ACQUIRED A
SUFFICIENTLY WELL-DEFINED CENTER OF CIRCULATION AND ORGANIZED DEEP
CONVECTION TO BE CLASSIFIED AS A TROPICAL CYCLONE.

Although I had no problems logging in today, it isn't remembering me after I leave (normally it does). Also, the unread topics feature (at the top) isn't working. It says all topics have been read, even though they haven't.

Hmm I still have topics populated there. Let me look into that!!

After careful consideration I have decided to move the site and forum to a new server. I would like to note that I will continue our old hosts services for up to two months while we evaluate the new host and determine if the move was the best choice. Over the course of today and tonight some parts of the forum may act a little strange. The default forum url will be properly working soon as well. Attachments are being restored as we speak. In regards to the TWC Today website, most of the files needed for that are already in place. Thanks for being patient!

Going to Phoenix tomorrow to see KISS live in concert! For those who don't know, this is my 2nd time seeing KISS in concert (1st time was back in November at San Diego). Super excited! 

Awesome!! Glad you had a great time I went to a concert and saw Little Big Town and Sugarland on Friday. Concerts are a lot of fun

Matthew has now become a remnant low and will no longer be officially recognized by the National Weather Service, but it will still be monitered for the very small potential of redevelopment. There IS, however, a disturbance directly behind Matthew that has been given a 10% chance of development.
