You have got to be kidding me.  :o
It's not that hard to believe really. It happens in the industry. Locally one of our OCMs goes by a different name on air. In his case its because the name is spelled really weird.

I know folks in the media with stage names. Its not uncommon. For a women in the national spotlight I can understand  it for safety reasons as well.

Why does TWC need a photographer? He's going to be taking away from the iWitnesses.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion
« on: November 17, 2010, 07:22:22 PM »
During Saturday morning at work, a forecaster had TWC on the big-screen TV.  He and I saw Stephanie acting in a segment called "Ms. Wizard."  Seriously, when did this segment debut, and why couldn't it be saved for a long-form show rather than airing it during live time?  The two of us were laughing and rolling our eyes as Stephanie crushed a can without using her hands to demonstrate pressure.

IntelliStar 2 Discussion / Re: IntelliStar 2 Beta Launch
« on: November 17, 2010, 03:36:45 AM »
Does anyone know where else Cox has the HD star at?  I noticed Cox will be adding TWC HD to Topeka's lineup and was wondering if maybe Topeka is getting the HD Star too.  Unfortunately we have U-Verse...but we might be getting a few more HD TVs and with U-Verse, I think you can only have so many HD feeds or something, so a call to Cox may be in store soon!

your area will get it but it might be awhile. Tyler might have a better answer than me but TWC works with the Cable Co to add the channel, when the channel is indeed added there is an open timeframe on when the star will be added (considering the IS2 is still in beta as i write this.)
There is no guarantee that any headend will get the IS2. It is a luxury item in the cable world and up to the individual/regional company to pick it up.

When the first time I saw the green logo in 2008, I thought it was permanant.  :P
Thanks for the vids!
Wonder when TWC will use a Christmas logo?  Wait, can't do that.  It might offend someone. :hammer:
So you would be alright with TWC offending people?
I would be :P

While I still am not totally convinced of man made global warming I am really happy this guy is putting this movie out. I watched the trailer and he right on about a lot of things. I wish this was being shown in my area :(
