I have a DVD-RW burner, but the DVDs I use aren't DVD-RW. I'll check and see if my parents have one...If you don't mind me asking, why do get severe weather in your area every week?Not quite every week, but we do get thunderstorms (not always necessarily severe) often. They don't call Florida the lightning capital of the national (and yet they call it the sunshine state) for no reason!
If I had a way to burn it to a DVD, capture it, and then erase it, I wouldn't have to wait until I had 5 videos.Is your DVD burner a DVD-RW? If so, you could burn a DVD-RW (the blank DVD HAS to be a DVD-RW, though), which means you could erase it after you've finished.
