General Discussion / Re: The Front Porch

That's kind of like our weather.  It's pissing me off, I want some warmth here already!
I can agree with that. <_< A few weeks ago, it got past 80. Ever since, it's never gotten above 65. :(
You should come over here. It's boiling hot, and it isn't supposed to cool anytime soon. We're actually under a heat advisory right now...

I got a reply from Brian Picard regarding one of my
unknown songs
from April 2007:

Hi Derek,

Thanks for your e-mail.   The song sounds familiar of course, and I was almost certain that it was either a Mark Krurnowski or Patrick Yandall piece.   Unfortunately, we have not been able to positively identify the song title.    I took over the music responsibilities here at TWC last October, so I did not select that song from the original source.    We will keep searching though.   I will keep you posted.

Brian

Colorado, which is also my home state. The artist you are referring to is Steve Glotzer.

I think the Norman Fisk song during the overnight playlist can ONLY play on K flavors. From what I could hear in Alex's clip, the time in for the song is about :59, which would mean the time out is 2:59. The song begins to fade out around 2:50, so that would mean it would fade out on the LF as well.
Do you hear that song? I did.
So far, I've only heard it on K flavors. I heard it once last night (can't remember the exact time), but I do recall it was a K flavor.

If the song is 2:59, and it begins to fade out at 2:50, why would they choose a time that far into the song? They should've chosen one closer to the beginning.
Yeah, I don't understand that either. It would explain why I have barely heard it this month. I almost never watch the K flavors.

I also believe the song "Lucky Charm" was used in the mid 90s
I hope you're kidding. "Lucky Charm" was not used in the 90's.

I can whistle almost every LF song, particularly the Frank Josephs songs. As I'm typing this, I'm whistling "Break Out" by Rik Pfenninger.
