We're currently in Vegas now, and they obviously have the IS. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a clip or not. We're in a HUGE hurry...

Wow, that's neat! Were you able to tell if it was the IntelliStar or XL font on the LDL? It could of been an IntelliStar that didn't receive the icons upgrade (there were a few that didn't receive it until  several months after most of the others did).
It definitely had a different font than the intellistar. Man this is so freakin cool!!!!! :thrilled: If only I had my camera....

Ok, so there was a slight change of plans. Instead of going to Utah, we decided to make our first stop in Glenwood Springs, CO. Unfortunately though, the hotel has satellite. :( I couldn't tell whether the dishes were on the roof, because it was so dark..

HOWEVER, on the way here, we stopped at a rest stop, and because there was some severe weather, they had TWC playing in the visitor's center. And on the screen was a BLACK LDL with the OLD ICONS!!!!! :thrilled: But we couldn't stay long enough for the LF, and my camera was packed away in the moving truck. I think the CC city on the LDL was 'Leadville' or something like that. So maybe I didn't get to actually see a LF, but that was the closest to a legacy STAR that I've ever been to.. :thrilled: :thrilled: :thrilled: :wow:

Very interesting stuff! In that case, there's a really good chance in seeing legacy Stars, Derek! :D
Oh man, I sure hope so! I'll just have to tell my dad to avoid the hotels with dish network/directv dishes on their roofs!
Most of the hotels I stayed in have cable. But the thing is, they don't have a STAR hooked up, so they might just show a raw satellite feed instead :(
That's what I saw in Aurora, CO. I didn't realize all the satellite dishes on the roof though.

I am missing a ton of those airport codes. I'll have to add them when I get back to CA..

Wow, that's pretty freaky how there's an XL *just* south of me!

Does Moab, UT have a Junior?
It's certainly a possibility...

The one place I think that has a junior for sure is Tonopah, NV, because there's no radar coverage there.

Yeah, I'd like to see your reaction too. I would probably flip if I see a legacy STAR, especially the XL. :D
If I saw the XL, there's no telling what I would do!

My dad is probably going to be disconnecting the internet tomorrow afternoon, so I won't be online for a few days. We're leaving Colorado Springs on Thursday, and arriving back in California on Sunday. We've decided to go up through Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada, so hopefully I'll run into an older STAR. If there's wireless at a low cost at any of the hotels, I'll be sure to drop by and let you guys know if I found anything.

P.S. For those of you who were watching CriminalCola's stream last week, I still plan on having my brother film my reaction if there's another STAR. :P :D

"On My Own" by Yvonne Ayers. Sounds a bit like It's Not Supposed to Be That Way by E Power.

Hey Victor, could you capture a 2 minute clip of "Lake Effect" by Yvonne Ayers?

Hi Victor-
Nope, that one is nice but, not mine.  On the 'August Playlist' messageboard page, the 2nd song you listed as 'possibly Jeanne Ricks' is my song 'Cold Comfort' which, assuming I can ever find a home for my music, will be on the CD.  Still being ignored by the record labels, but still trying.
All the best,
-Jeanne
Actually, that was my post that Victor quoted. I realized though that I linked to the wrong song. The song that I was meaning to link to you identified as "Cold Comfort". Thanks Jeanne! B)

As the others have said, I would also be interested in buying all your tunes individually via snocap or paypal. :)

I rarely see LDl glitches. The only glitch I saw was a few weeks ago when there was a HiRad outage. All of the cities in the LDL reported "No Report".
That's one of the only 2 LDL glitches I've seen.
