TWC had "blizzard" in the forecast? I must of missed it! I'll keep a close eye on the forecast today and see if the icon shows up again.
I think I saw it earlier. I can't remember if it was for your area or not. It may have been for Alex's. But now, neither place shows it. :(
It will probably show up on your intellistar as that neat icon with the snow being blown to the side.

So, I was watching the news last night and they said a possible snowstorm is coming, but I wasn't expecting much. Then I saw that apparently we're getting a foot of snow out of this, and blizzard-like conditions! Looks like we're slated to have the worst snowstorm since 2003, and definitely the worst March snow event since 1993!
I was totally going to make an emulation for your area so I can do the blizzard icon, but they must've updated it. :( Plus, I'd rather wait for some interesting CC conditions (right now it's just cloudy), and I need to have at least 3 hours of radar data.

Ok, so I spent the night last night in Fresno because my dad had a lifting competition. At the hotel, I was extremely disappointed to find that TWC was one of many channels that weren't working. And I even brought along my tuner in anticipation for seeing another STAR. But anyway, the next day, TWC was playing at the place we were eating at, and I saw an IS, which I had expected. But nothing would prepare me for what I was about to see at the gym. As we were getting ready, some guys flipped on TWC on a large HD TV in the waiting area, and it was right in the middle of an XL LOCAL FORECAST!!!!!!!!!!! :O I was able to watch for about 5 minutes before they flipped to basketball or whatever. Unfortunately though, I got no ID # (again) and no pictures. :( :pinch:

Ouch. That would've been tough to tell the guys that you wanted to watch the Weather Channel. I have a similar story. Recently, me and my family went up to Flint, Michigan for Thanksgiving at my aunt and uncle's house, whom we never see, and the cable was out at our hotel the whole stay until that morning that we were packing up. it came on and I turned on The Weather Channel, and it was an XL!!! I could tell by the LDL and the icons at the bottom! But, I didn't have enough time that morning to view a Local Forecast.
I seem to have really bad luck when it comes to these things. lol That's the SECOND time I've missed out on capturing an XL. The first time was this past summer in Leadville, CO at a rest stop.

Cartoon network has gotten really bad.  I pretty much stopped watching it completely when they discontinued the 'city' theme a couple years back.

I'm *HOPING" one of the jazz songs I have tested was used in April 2007. Because I just know that the latin song or one of the bluesy guitar songs from April 2007 is in the site.

To make things a little easier, why not got to that page and hit Ctrl + F, and type in some keywords to search for, like "latin", "guitar", "electric guitar", etc.

ugh. It's always sports :pinch:
I know, right!!  :pinch:
Specifically, they were watching basketball. And I'm sure you can imagine, I was too shy to tell the group of 30 guys to go back to TWC so I could snap a pic.... :blushing:

Does anyone know who Konnichiwa321 is on Youtube? He's sending me messages saying he was formerly employed at TWC as a graphic designer. However, me, being the smart person I am (  ) pretty much told him I didn't believe him, and now he says his TWC-obsessed friend had his password.

Ohh, I've been talking to him. At first, I didn't believe him. But my mind changed when he told me he had the entire set of XL icons (And he even sent me 1 to prove it).

I think I may have figured out a way to get the wintry precip on the XL. I try and post an emulation tonight...

I agree they should do something about the LDL, but what's even more annoying is when we get the full red screen warnings and you just hear the audio from the background. They've been appearing a lot lately too-- why does something minor like a lake wind advisory cause this to come up?
Do you have a video of that?

Im starting to wonder if Brian Picard is still the music programmer...
I heard that some lady was doing it now
Where did you hear that from?
From Gary Oleyar. We were talking about his song "AltoStratus", when he said that the lady music programmer rejected it.
