When I get my license, I'll be getting a Jeep Grand Cherokee (from 1994 I think..). It used to be my mom's car, till she got Mini Cooper.

Nice find! Is there any chance you could capture the vertical scroll? There aren't many videos of how it behaves floating around..

Teterboro has the IS? How weird.. I know someone gave me some clips of a 4000 there not too long ago... It's a shame it's been upgraded :(

Speaking of vacations, I'll be going to Portland tomorrow. I'll be sure to capture some more clips of the IS and weatherscan. :)

Sorry to change the subject here, but I am not sure what to make of this:

Stalled front? We could sure use the rain, but I have never seen T-Storms in the forecast for the whole week like this.

I get something similar on mine, only instead of thunderstorms, I get 7 little suns.

No, have you seen one?
I haven't seen it, but someone told me that it exists. I would imagine it was used back when the NWS forecasts were used, because I've never seen TWC issue a forecast like that..

Maybe they're going in order by STAR ID or something. Mine is 22884, so its definitely one of the early STARs. If this is the case, I would expect your STAR Al, to receive this update within the coming days..

On a totally different subject, is anyone familiar with a 'mountain snow valley rain' icon from the XL's icon set?

I just realized something odd on my intellistar's LDL. As of this morning, it's showing the current conditions for Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and Soquel (which has never shown up on the LF before). I wasn't aware that the LDL could show conditions for 3 cities like that..

Something is not right here. I just looked through the playlists that Alex posted, and found the December 03 playlist, but it looks very incomplete.

Anyone know this song?

Oh and Mike, the song you posted is "Zephyr" by Don Grusin. Listen to a clip here.

What confuses me as to why the radar and metro maps aren't centered on Scotts Valley then..

You know, I've been curious as to where my headend is as well.. The bill says its "Comcast of Scotts Valley", however I do recall seeing a rather large comcast building in Santa Cruz, which would make more sense. Also, if my Intellistar was based out of Scotts Valley, the config is shifted way too far south.

Your IntelliStar is Scotts Valley. When there is a Current Conditions outage on the IntelliStar, the headend location will appear on the Current Conditions page, like in this video:

Oh so it's not the backup Hirad station?
