Local Forecast / Re: Looking for music in removed Youtube video
« on: November 21, 2009, 11:09:17 AM »
Hi, I surely haven't been here in forever, and don't think I've forgot about this site. :P

I need your help indentifying this song, but the video is no longer on Youtube.

Does anyone remember that video of a WxSTAR 3000 emulating its final days in late 2004? I'm not sure if this was a holiday themed song or not, and I'm pretty sure it was either primetime/overnight song. The song itself is heavily piano based. That's all I can give, but I'm pretty confident some of our older users here know which video I'm talking about.

Thanks a lot for the help.
I remember that video... I believe it was a Vince Guaraldi song.. You should check out some of his holiday stuff and see if you recognize any of them. I can't recall specifically which song it is though.. :/
He told me on AIM it wasn't Vince Guaraldi.
Well I know that in one of the videos he posted, it was Vince Guaraldi. I didn't know he reposted that video with a different song...

I have the full version to that fall opener song. It's called "Horizons" by Scott Schreer and Reed Hays. :)

Is it ok if I post it though? :dunno:
Errr... it might be risky... Maybe you could email it? (You know my email right??)

Everything Else TWC / 2006 LOT8's Intro Music?
« on: November 05, 2009, 08:55:13 PM »
So I'm wondering if anyone here has had any luck finding any of these production songs from LOT8s intros in 2006? I realize that some production music discoveries were floating around, including one of the 2006 first day of spring songs (
this one to be exact
), but I'm wondering if you guys found any of those intros in particular? I have heard the summer tune used recently. See
this video
starting at 2:41. I appreciate any help you guys can give.. :)

Here's some icons never seen on the south east coast in a long time Sun/Fog
Nothing new to me. I've seen that icon plentiful amounts of times on the Satellite LF.
Just curious, have you seen the am fog pm clouds icon? It should look just like that, but with a cloud instead of a sun.

Sorry-- but has anyone tried the Pumpkin Spice coffee from Starbucks, I am thinking of trying it, but don't want to waste my money on it.  I hear it's pretty good.
I love their pumpkin spice coffee! I've had it all the time during the fall in recent years. I don't go to Starbucks regularly however because they're so expensive. I either make my own or go to Wawa (local convenience store).
Haha that's one of the things I did to celebrate the first day of fall. :P

Last sunday was VERY fall like here. Temps only reached the upper 50's, and there was even some rain! I think it totaled up to be a little less than half an inch here, but still it's something! Perhaps this is a sign of things to come.... At least I hope it is....

I've been trying to redo my v.3 graphics. I'm wondering, do the colors look right in the picture?
