Dr. Jeff Masters from WeatherUnderground is going to be at TWC for the duration of the tropical storm coverage.
He was just on with Bryan Norcross.

Speaking of dramatic, am I the only one who finds the tropical storm video edited to what sounds like fast chase music from a movie sound track to be a bit tacky and unnecessary?

Yeah, SoundHound detected the wrong version. I've updated the list.

Why is Rushing playing right now?

I heard it to at 11:58am on the national TWC HD feed on FiOS.

The 9am play list was totally different the what I've heard this week.
It was all instrumentals and I could only ID 2 songs.
8:58am ET "My Name Is Lincoln" - Steve Jablonsky (instrumental)
9:48am ET "In The Light" - dc Talk

Could they be still be switching songs around or using a different playlist during the Tropical Storm coverage?

Even though my guide says coverage is from 7-8:30pm, 10-11:30pm, 1-2am, it seems live coverage is going to continue. Jim Cantore, during his live spot, let it slip that NBC is involved with where people are going and how this coverage is going forth so only time will tell how well this coverage goes.

Jim was saying that he had to stay in Tampa to report for Today and Meet The Press then he is going to drive to North West FL for Monday.

Since we know Al is gonna be with Stephanie does that mean WUWA is gonna be on tomorrow as a special edition like it was with Irene?

Yes, WUWA is on at 6am ET Sunday.
