I wonder if any on air talent have been effected by the staff cuts?
Noticed for the last 2 weeks Paul Goodloe has been doing sports related taped segments and has not done the 5pm-7pm shift with Kelly.

There is definitely more of a focus on weather during AMHQ.
They got to rid of the sports reports after Reese Waters left and I've not noticed many entertainment reports.
The 9am hour still seems to me to be a copy of the Today show's 9am hour which is less news and more chatting.

Yes TWC has been live since 12am and may be live through the overnight covering the storms.
WCL OCM shifts for all day coverage are usually 11am-3pm. 3pm-7pm, 7pm-11pm and of they stay live 11pm-3am. 3am-5am or 5:30am.
They are not using the storm mode graphics.

That brings up a good point, does TWC realize those who have TV providers where the SD feed is automatically replaced with the HD feed are not getting the regional storm coverage?

Other channels HD such as the MLB Network are able to do an alternate feed regionally so I wonder why TWC does not have that in place?

TWC started national live coverage at 12am ET with Kim and Nick.

Not me. I keep checking for live storm coverage and since TWC is not showing it nationally I'm not staying on TWC.

TWC went to long form at 2pm ET.
The only extra live coverage today is on the alternate SD feed for areas effected by storms.

Why can't TWC do the alternate feed on the HD channel for those who have the IS2?

They could also stream the regional storm coverage on Weather.com so those who want live storm coverage can watch that instead of long from shows some of which have nothing to do with weather.

Odd they would update the bio photos and not have all of them ready.
I also don't get why some are looking at the camera and some are not.
They all should be facing the camera.

Danielle mentioned in a FB post she was basically doing radio and weather.com forecasts and would not be on TV much.

He got a better offer from ESPN. I hope they use this move to stop doing sports on AMHQ.

In the latest AMHQ promos they mention that the 7am hour has the most weather of any other news show on TV.
It needs to be the whole show not just 7am.

During WCL this AM a still image of Mike Seidel kept appearing on screen when the lower thirds went on and off the screen.

During the 2pm ET hour they were promoting all day and night coverage.

At 12am ET they are still live but they are using the long form format of full screen video and no weather info at the bottom of the national HD feed during commercials.

I noticed today all the camera shots on Wake Up With Al were very soft.
If they added a soft filter to all the cams they are using way to much.

Attached is a comparison of the same camera shot from 9/16 & 9/29

I got an update via Twitter that the cams are going to have their focus checked and things should be normal Tuesday.

Checked a recording of Tuesday's show and all the video from NYC still looks soft.
It's as if they are talking the NYC feed and making it soft as it's being received back in Atlanta.

TWC did 30min live hurricane shows at 8pm and 11pm ET.
WCL is on early at 3am ET.

Yes it's much better now that they are using all of the studio.
I had been wondering when the full studio would be in use by AMHQ and WCL.
There must have been some logistics and adding of cameras they had to do.
