Upon further review no shows got new graphics packages.
All they did was change the show logos and intro animations for the shows that got renamed and all shows now have the new live bug and lower thirds.

I wonder why they did not change everything at the same time?

I'll check the DVR and post pics from the AM shows.
Day Planner has the new lower third and Live & City name bug.
As you said the rest of the graphics package is old.

Seems like the breaking news graphics are the template for the new graphics.
Like NBC News graphics package used by WNBC they are mixing serif and sans serif fonts.
On the "Live" and City name graphic they use different fonts.
The only thing I don't like is the full width lower thirds with the moving colors on the sides.

TWC needs to move like other news channels and format for 16:9 and letterbox the video on the SD feed.
It would not effect the LDL.

The new schedule starts Monday.
There's a graphic on screen noting during the last 4pm Weather Center Live noting that WCL moves to 5pm-8pm starting Monday.

4am First Outlook
5am On The Radar
5:30am Wake Up with Al
7am Morning Rush
10am Wake Up with Al
11am Day Planner
2pm Taped Programming
5pm Weather Center Live
8pm Taped Programming

TWC has their first named stormed Athena.
Are the NBCU Comcast Stations going to use this name?
I doubt any other non NBCU stations are.
WNBC is using Nor'easter.

Noticed a new person on TWC this week, Michael Lowry, Hurricane Specialist.

A Google search finds this,
"COAPS alumnus Michael Lowry can now be seen on The Weather Channel! Michael joined The Weather Channel’s tropical team in September after working at the National Hurricane Center. Do you live in any of the areas possibly affected? If so, maybe they're using the dual feeds they used to do? Because here in Topeka, KS we just have Ice Pilots like normal at 3pmET/2pmCT.

Yes unfortunatley I'm in the path of Sandy for Monday-Tuesday.
A correction to the schedule, TWC went to tape at 3pm. They only did an extra hour of Day Planner.
WCL went to 5:30pm and is back at 7pm.

The 2pm-3pm ET taped shows are preempted.
