I just think it's Bright House's Customer Service that is reporting the wrong information,

if this was happening on an Xfinity Headend i bet the same thing would occur.

If this turns out to be true, I like how they don't specify a clear timeframe. I know a few posts up it says "sometime over the summer" but I'm a little dubious of that, I want to believe what they're saying, but another part of me says I shouldn't. I'll just play the wait and see game for a little longer. 

EDIT: Alex, I saw in your question you brought up about the bandwidth thing again, I'm thinking it had to be more to it besides that, we went all digital here 2 years ago, even before the IS2 began beta testing. I'm beginning to think they must of purposely planned to wait until all Comcast/Xfinity served areas went digital before working on launching any IS2s in their served markets.

We are rolling out HD local service in Xfinity systems nationwide. Massachusetts systems will have local weather in HD later in 2012.

Beyonce on TWC?!  I love Beyonce, but her music on the LOT8s just sounds weird. Was it an instrumental?

It wasn't a instrumental. It definitely had vocals, it was "Wishing On a Star."
ugh! This crap doesn't belong on TWC!

Here's a new reply i got about the IS2 on Xfinity Headends

Comcast has not initiated their full HD launch yet. It's coming. I believe their rollout should begin sometime over the summer.

Now that we're not in tornado warnings anymore... 
The past three or four days our Palmer Drought Index in Topeka on COX cable Weatherscan has been saying "Temporarily Unavailable". Is anyone else getting that?

It's been like that on the Brockton star since March.
