If this isn't the right place to put it could you please move it?

is there a chance cities like Taunton, MA and Boston,MA could be added to the emulator to cover Eastern MA? cities like Worcester,MA and Orange, MA seems to only cover Western and Central Mass.

i know this has been bounced around a couple times but wouldn't it make sense (if they're changing the programming) to just use instrumental music even if it's not smooth jazz instead of vocals?

Latest update i got from The Weather Channel's Local On The 8s Support about the HD Local Forecasts.

"Unfortunately, the Comcast rollout of HD locals continues to be stalled. No dates for implementation yet."

I get the feeling Comcast isn't ready to run with these updates, and it's going to be a long while before they do.

I'm thinking they're still waiting until every Xfinity area is all digital (which is supposed to be completed in early 2013) and has TWC lHDl before they add the IS2 to any system.

I would rather see TWC cover the impacts, watches, and warnings with each winter storm.  There are too many factors involved to worry about naming one, and there are many little storms that wouldn't get named but are very capable of causing substantial problems.

I Agree, that's  the same thing i was thinking when i saw the names pop up on my TV.

I do wonder what the criteria is, though.

Snow & Wind Impacts, Ice & Snow Accumulation, Regional impacts (Tom Niziol compared Buffalo, NY to Atlanta, GA saying a  2" snowstorm in Buffalo wouldn't mean much but a 2" snowstorm in Atlanta would.)

Looks like the New Bedford Intellistar deserves a reboot, it's currently showing a Severe Thunderstorm Watch from July 18th.

Really? a Treasure hunting show?  when the average viewer sees this on TWC they'll think (put this show on Destination America or National Geographic).

the trend of shows they pick up keep getting worse.

I haven't seen the cable headend logo nor the radio station card during the station ID segments since Saturday morning, possibly due to the new fall backgrounds. Is anybody else not seeing this on their headends either?

it's blank here in southern new england also.
