IntelliStar 2 Discussion / Re: IntelliStar 2 Beta Launch
« on: September 06, 2010, 08:55:08 PM »
i got a reply from a TWC sales rep saying
Quote
Deployment of the HD Star has just begun.  Roll-out is on a first come first serve basis so the systems that launched the national feed first will get their equipment first.

So it seems those areas that acquired TWC HD 1st is the ones supposed to get it first and which is maybe the case with those Tennessee Headends.

It appears that vocal music isn't being played on WUWA anymore. I like that change a lot, as it gives us an extra hour of the morning playlist. Even though I don't particulary love the morning playlist, it's so much better than "Billie Jean" in the morning.
Wait... then why was I hearing Sugar Ray on the LOT8s that other morning?
Usually during red mode (i think but not sure) primetime slot music is looped on WUWA
from what i've heard recently it's been a mix of primetime and morning music

So i wonder if the LDA was a flop?.

LDL/LDA not present on DP most likely because today is Labor Day :P

I noticed last night that the radar in the "ad" space was only showing coastal cities, moving clockwise down the east coast, across the south, then back up the western US.  Anyone else notice this, and know why it was only coastal cities?

it was most likely an insert for when earl was still around, maybe TWC will keep this add-on but add each big city that is used on the LDL.

and it would also be sufficient on those new LDA shows on the bottom right instead of that bothersome ad space.

TWC posted some behind the scenes photos of TWC in "Red Mode". In picture 10/26, you can see an IntelliSTAR behind Dr. Rick Knabb.
