I haven't seen the L squeeze bar so called "blooper" (at the top of this page) since that day...

Was it a test?

it mostly likely fell though (test failed), which is why we haven't seen it since.

TWC wants to move in a direction towards Lifestyle Entertainment which basically means the Transparent Logo is here to stay on Long-form.

i wouldn't be surprised if they turned off the Satellite HD/SD LDL to incorporate the Transparent Logo to show during live programming with only the Intellistar/Intellistar 2's LDL's cuing.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Who here gets TWC HD?
« on: August 09, 2011, 08:31:57 PM »
Already called and tried asking that in July to Comcast and got a workaround for 45 minutes until they told me they don't know what the Intellistar 2 is.  :itsok: i gave them a great description then they told me we will send your request through their Massachusetts systems, i haven't heard from them since.
You won't really get a good answer from their customer service line. The only people who would know what an IS2 is are the headend techs, which customers can't reach AFAIK.

i didn't call customer service. i called Comcast New England and finally got that answer from the VP of public relations saying they will work on adding the Intellistar 2 to most New England systems between now and 2012.

It depends on your satellite or cable company as to whether or not they have purchased a new Intellistar2 HD box. If they haven't then you will continue to get the same old boring graphics. Call your cable and/or satellite provider and tell them to get on the ball and buy one!

General Discussion / Re: Gas prices in your area
« on: August 08, 2011, 09:36:59 AM »
Oil Trading around $83 (if the price held for around a month) = $2.73 a gallon

$80 = $2.63 a gallon

$75 = $2.46 a gallon

$70 = $2.30 a gallon

Notes:

It takes 3-6 months for crude oil to make its way through the refining process and make it into gasoline that you buy at the pump. Due to this delay, you may not see an immediate jump in pump prices.

This assumes that there are no disruptions in refinery capacity. If a refinery is disrupted, as happened during Hurricane Katrina, then you should expect the price you pay at filling stations to increase beyond the estimates here. Similarly, if taxes change, that will be reflected in the fuel price.

The pump price will also vary depending on your geography.

Just because they're hasn't been a change in several years doesn't mean a change like this won't happen in the future.

but Tavores you have to think of the other viewers in the viewing Area who don't live in the Headend's City/Town, they rather see their coverage area's info at the end for example "Fall River/Wareham" or North Kingstown/Newport"(Maps/AQ/Marine) basically what my video shows.
