I'm glad my area has weatherscan, but I just feel bad for those viewers whose provider doesn't have it and don't have internet has to sit there and watch that dredded LBar with lack of LF content

It's better than having no locals at all.

I don't know where you got it's better than no locals at all, the #1 reason viewers watch TWC is for a Real Local Forecast (not for rushed and fake powerpoint Squeezebar) and especially not seeing a Local Forecast at either the :28 or :58 is a complete waste of utter time just to put up to 5 minutes of commercials in its place  :club:

Especially those viewers in the affected areas of Irene may have wanted to see the Tides and Marine Forecast (who don't have internet) or the Radar/Satellite (who don't have Weatherscan) in which that fake L-Bar doesn't even have.

The Squeezebar is just plain annoying, I'm waiting for either a 28/58 local and i see 5 minutes of commercials

So...um...we are going full steam with no dedicated locals (just squeezebacks)?

Sadly that seems to be the case, looks like I'll have to watch Weatherscan when Irene comes up the coast.

So basically Irene could still take the farther eastern track over RI because of the NNE turn?

My Star is already having lapses due to the storm: The Bulletins page with Hurricane Watch and Flood Watch disappeared unexpectedly even though im still under those, the Hurricane Watch tab on the LDL during the locals are gone, and the Hurricane Conditions Possible Sunday Red Box is gone.

So Far the :28 used a Normal LF, also appeared at :58.

If that's the case i completely agree with the move so i can catch the Radar/Satellite on :28/:58
