Looks like TWC got what they wished for with the change = viewership   IStar/IS2 and satellite will get the 1:00 or 1:30 depending on content (no new sceens will be added) and the XL will get nothing relating to the squeezeback

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion

The problem with the L bar local forecast is it makes the video window on the SD and HD feeds way to small.
It's not worth getting the extra programming time if the video window is to small.
Just to back to the full screen regular local forecast and be done with this test format.

You might as well tell TWC Public Relations your solution to this whole mess.

Update on the WUWA LF situation

The WUWA full-screen locals had suspended playing the music with vocals during recent hurricane coverage. The producers felt that pop/vocal songs were not appropriate during hurricane coverage. At this time, it is uncertain whether WUWA will stick with instrumentals or switch back to vocals.

The LF's have basically been discontinued on normal programming excluding WUWA and YWT because of the current testing. just be lucky the :28 and :58 haven't been removed yet.

Winter Prediction

By Amanda Cedrone, Globe Correspondent

Forget those weather supercomputers, those satellite pictures, Doppler radar images, graphs, and maps. The Farmers’ Almanac has spoken, and it says New Englanders can expect a rough winter.

“We’re summarizing the winter for the whole country as clime and punishment,” said Sandi Duncan, managing editor of the Farmers’ Almanac.

Punishment won’t come in the form of temperature, but in precipitation, she said.

“New England and Massachusetts are going to have a very stormy and snowy winter on tap,” Duncan said. “We don’t see a very cold winter.”

Because the temperature won’t be particularly cold, the storms are expected to bring freezing rain and slushy snow. The storms should begin in November around Thanksgiving, Duncan said.

The beginning of December should come with some snow, but around Christmastime we could see some heavy rain that may lead to flooding.

Duncan also urged New Englanders to be prepared for two big storms in early to mid-February. The storms could result in over a foot of heavy, wet snow.

“I’d say take a vacation that week if you can,” Duncan said.

Like i said before anyone who has an XL is basically like someone who can't access the internet for weather = screwed because now we know TWC loves the 2mins at 28/58 just for extra weather coverage during other times of the schedule.

Now I know why I was told the playlist would start earlier in the month for content and programming purpouses (Squeezeback)  I won't be surprised if more things will be added during programming.
