I'm excited... There's an openly out gay guy on this season of Hell's Kitchen :)
That's surprising?

they should go back to Prior-2003, where the XL bar wasn't necessarily on all the time. For example, a lower-third would be in the same horizontal plane as the LDL, and the LDL would discontinue itself when a lower third was displayed, and resume when it was finished.

Very nice, but the text doesn't line up correctly w/ the graphics. They need to make the on-air appearance more "backwards compatible" with older STARs.

Someone please tell me the outcome of this storm? When I heard about it last night, it sounded like nothing but typical Chicago weather.

I guess the real question is: which is better? Jonas Brothers or Miley Cirus? In which case, they both suck.

And there's more where that came from.

Do you seriously enjoy being a racial stereotype?

All I can say is - Holy crap!

It's going to happen in the first place because in the upcoming years no one will be using it anyway, but why not do it now to get it over with now?
Wow, there are SO many things wrong with that statement/question.

First off, a LOT of people are still using analog antenna TV. If they wanted/could afford cable/digital services, then they would have bought them. But they don't/can't, so they use antenna. There is absolutely nothing wrong with OTA television as it is. It has satisfied people for years. There needs to be some medium of communication, where the consumer has the ultimate choice in how it's delivered. The government has no right to step in and demand that everyone switch to digital OTA.

And contrary to what people are led to believe, digital is not always better than analog forms of media. Take MP3's for example...

(sigh)

Sorry I didn't make myself clear on that, I meant analog OTA. OTA is a great thing, i've used it quite a few times, so I totally get you on that point.

Also, you know CD's are digital right? Nothing wrong with the audio quality on that. What kinda problems do you have with MP3, either? 192-320 kbps MP3 audio is great sounding.
Wow.

How can you people eat school lunches?  I carried my lunch every day from middle of sixth grade clear though high school.
Amen to that.

Here's a BRILLIANT idea! DON'T FORCE THE DIGITAL SWITCH AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
Eh, horrible idea. Analog is a waste of space, we have to get rid of it sometime. The pros outweigh the cons when it comes to switching over.

If they would of just done it anyway, and at the same time pumped more money into the program, people would of been without FREE TV for what, a few days? If people are that worried about losing TV for a few days maybe they should get some DVDs or VHSes and watch those in the mean time.
No. Just no.

People should be able to have the option for both. While digital may be highly encouraged, there should still be an alternative option. As I've said before, technology upgrades enforced by law is ridiculous.
