I think my IS has gone carzy... it's showing that we got to a record low of 21 last night; although it actually was in the 50's.

Wouldn't that be an error with TWC's database?

While it may be an opinion, I'm certainly entitled to one. I'm also certainly entitled to share it, if I please. And maybe I wouldn't have to be if things were not so obsessive and over the top around here. Try going to more websites.

5 years? That's not that old IMO.

3-5 years is actually the average usable lifespan of a computer, so my computer has been doing pretty well.

IMO, a computer should last twice that amount of time.

Also, they say you should format your hard drive and restore to factory settings once a year.

Well, my desktop PC crapped out this morning. When I turn it on, it gets to the blue HP splash screen (before it even starts to load the operating system), and then a constant beeping starts. Won't get any further than that.

Sounds like some sort of a hardware failure or issue of some sort, which wouldn't surprise me since this machine is over 5 years old.

If you know how many beeps, and the duration of the beeps (short or long), you can type that into Google and it will tell you what the problem is.
