I have no idea. But you can use any RG-6 coaxial cable, of pretty much any length.

Or do you mean when i turn the TV on, it should be set to cable 3?Turn your tuner to Channel 3, or the channel you would normally turn your TV to when you want to use the STB. Then just control the STB as you normally would.

I'm getting a WINTV HVR 950 tuner in the summer and to get the satellite channels, i simply plug in the composite cables to my receiver, right? I don't need to use the antenna?
