I had lots of friends in elementary school, but my teachers were not very good, except 2 that were awesome. I don't know which is better: lots of friends, or good teachers. :hmm:

Gil, I was trying to explain that concept to YOU when you asked us for advice on how to build a site.
Right, and didn't I say Dial-Up users can go to hell or something?? :rofl2: God I am a terrible person...

You certainly did say that. Practice what you preach!  :P
I'm trying to be nicer to people. It's incredibly hard. :(

Yeah that one is my favorite of the two too.

I like your simplistic approach Billy. I don't like a bunch of extra bells and whistles either. I also don't like a page that takes too long to load either (more than the count of three on a broadband connection), and the fancier the page the longer the load time.
Also have to take into consideration, the people who are on DSL and even Dial-Up. They still exist.

I've calculated it out... We're posting on average 2.325 pages per day here in the Front Porch.

March 20th to April 28th is 40 days, and 93 pages have elapsed since then.

93/40=2.325

There are 146 days until September 21st. If we keep posting at the current rate, we will hit 699 pages by September 21st.

2.325*146=339.45

339+360=699

During the summer though the posting rate usually skyrockets though.
Gee, you'd think it would be the opposite. I would've thought that people had LIVES over the summer, spending little to no time on the computer. :D

I was there in 2003. Quite a lame joke at this point in time.
