Wow, you guys start school late!

I always thought it made more sense to start school after Labor Day, but whatever.

Wait, they're playing more than one Storm Alert theme?

So its unnacceptable for them to skip your local forecast to deal with Gustav? How self-centered of you.
Believe it or not, not all of the 48 states are affected by this.

They could use their fancy dual-feed thingy, and skip locals there, but I want my LF.

No, but its far more important than your weather, which you can get from WxScan, or any of a million other avenues.

Granted, it's an important/dangerous situation, but it hardly constitutes skipping the LF for EVERYONE in the country. Like I said, they could use their dual-feed. Besides, what's 12 minutes out of an hour's worth of programming? :dunno:

Also, I noticed the Storm Alert music is different than the one I remember. Did they change it?.

It's a shame your so selfish. You really ought to be ashamed of yourself for putting yourself before alot of other people who appreciate what TWC is doing.
Again, what's 12 minutes out of an hour...I'm focusing on the logical aspect, not personal.

What's funny, an hour or 2 ago, Mike Bettes was reporting, and said the maximum wind gust that he recorded was 40 MPH.  :rofl2: But who knows, It could have increased dramatically since then. I'm really not following closely.

the music on the LF? It has been used since 2006.
They must have changed it since 2005 then, cause I remember it being A LOT different when they were playing it for Katrina.

I liked the old one better. :(

Be lucky you still get an LF. :twothumbs:

It's possible that the unit never received the updated LF schedule. :dunno:

EDIT: I just realized that you have a 4000! Holy crap! :rofl2:

I have no idea at this point, how many times this has been asked/discussed.

They are not going anywhere.

BTW, I've never heard of a Junior having degradation. :dunno:

Well, the FCC doesn't care at all about the graphics degradation all they care about is the warning tones. Now, this problem is usually either a non-connected or malfunctioning warning tone unit. (I dunno the actual name of it) Which would not be the actual STARs fault.
The 4000's warning system is built in, but can also accomodate an external system.
The Jr. doesn't have a built in system altogether.

Has anyone heard of, or know anyone who takes online schooling, as opposed to public or private schools?

Wow, you guys are all lucky that you get "breaks" and long lunches. NJ doesn't allow us to do that!
We get that in my school . I have 2 hours of lunch and study hall. Probably because I go to a private high school.
Yes, thats obviously quite different than public schools.

Does VapoRub ever expire? I have some with a stamp that reads "Jun 98".

That would be VERY expired. It is probably gangrenous by now.
I typed that word into google, and it still doesn't make sense. :dunno:

It still works though, and I'm not dead yet, so...

I love sweet lemonade. I like sugary drinks only.
Wow, that's really bad. ESPECIALLY if you have a family history of diabetes. :nono:
Yes my mom and grandmom has it. Sugar doesn't just give you diabetes, obesity and not exercising can cause diabetes too
I'm very well aware of that. But with eating habits like that, you may end up like them sooner than you think. :doh2:
It's true. It happened to my dad. Now he's useless.
