General Discussion / Re: The Pot Belly Stove
« on: October 01, 2008, 04:54:40 PM »
I was put under and had my wisdom teeth out, the same night I was back at work. I was fine, but apparently I hit on one of the nurses when they moved me from the OR to the recovery room......? Hmm :P
Probably a male nurse  :rofl2: :rofl2: :P
Male + Nurse = Murse.

On Another note, I have really discovered how amazing Windows 2000 Server is. My Macs and PC's work together in perfect harmony.

HOLY CRAP! Gil COMPLIMENTED a Microsoft product!!!  :faint:
I know, it's very unusual. :D However, Windows 2000 was the ONE good product they produced, be it Server or Professional.

Please don't merge this thread...at least not yet.

this topic was created in Nov 30th i want to wait for at least 2 more months after it's "yearly anniversary" before anything drastic happens.

Why? I propose it be merged immediately. There's absolutely no need for it. Just one general discussion area is needed. You're not special, why should you continue to retain your "own" thread?

The Game Room / Re: Name the next closest city
« on: October 01, 2008, 04:32:36 PM »
This is a game to where you name a suburb, AFTER you Identify the next closest major city.

I'll start.

P.S.- Always include a state when identifying the suburb. You may use maps at your convienience.

Newport News, VA.
Major city...being what, population over 200,000? Or being over 100 miles2? ....?

Merging this with the Front Porch and/or Pot Belly Stove would be a good idea. Since Gary banned creating additional topics like this, I don't see the need for this to stay as it is.
I agree.

Actually there should just be ONE general discussion thread. Front Porch, Pot Belly Stove, and this thread all merged into one.

It doesn't really matter how many replies it has. 1/2 of the replies are useless crap.
Ha, same goes with many threads here. :P

The election has nothing to do with it.

Really? I hardly think that permanent tax cuts for the rich is going to be good for this economy. All it would do is wipe out the entire middle class, but hey, no one cares about us anyway.

Politics has EVERYTHING to do with economy.

Local Forecast / TWC Songs you've heard in other places
« on: October 01, 2008, 03:56:18 PM »
I didn't see this topic here, so I thought I'd bring it up. Have you heard music features on TWC in other places, such as radio, stores, etc.? If so, which songs/artists and where?

My friend and I were coming home from school today, and on the radio, there was a commercial that featured Steve Glotzer's "January Day" in the background, playing throughout the commercial. A good 1 minute portion was used.

Well, when I got help with it, people on a forum said it was a Driver issue. So it could be the same driver issue with another device. :dunno:
