That;s me.

Think about it. Would an employer rather hire someone with a degree from Stanford, or someone who went to community college? It's common sense, people!

Gil, you should do yourself a favor on this one and can it. :footinmouth:

Gary's right, IMO. As long as you have a degree or certification, I don't think it really matters from where you obtained it.
You'll find out how wrong that is when you get to that point.

Because the more prestigious school, particularly universities, you attend, the more chances/options you get later in life. It's always good to set a goal as high as possible, in terms of education.

Holy moly, talk about an urban myth. The prestigiousness of a school makes zip difference.

Gil, you have alot to learn my friend.

Are you really in the position to make that kind of a statement? :whistling: Your resume says everything when applying for jobs. When employers see that you have a degree from a prestigious University, 9 times out of 10 they'll be a LOT more willing to hire you. That comes from 2nd-hand experience. :)

When you think about it, it all comes down to common sense.

Which you clearly lack.

How dare you question my position to make a statement. I'm in a far better position to make that statement than you are yours. Your 14 Gil. I'm 23. I'm there. I know better than you do.
Right, because you are obviously raking in more money than people with college degrees. ;) You barely have a high school education, you are NOT in the position to make that kind of statement and "know what you're talking about". If you did, maybe things would be different. Stop thinking your better than everyone.

Some teachers just shouldn't be allowed to teach. :censored: Especially when they can't relate to kids, nor know how to deal with them. :furious:

Ahh, "My Dancing heart" by Chris Camozzi...takes me back to when I began high school on August 2000. It's also great that they've brought back Ron Fattorusso.

Wow, your younger than I thought. I thought you were older than me.

But yeah, I concur. My Dancing Heart certainly does take me back.

If only they hadn't f***ed up the time-in. :censored:

No one asks for my iPod, and when they do I reject it. So no one really knows (well, at least the students) that I listen to instrumental music. During school I only listen to it on the bus ride home.
That's my biggest thing - People always ask me if they can use my phone, ipod, calculator, etc. I would never trust ANYONE with things that I value so much in everyday life.

But then again, I'm surrounded with kids who have absolutely no values whatsoever.
