Wow, I don't know what your high was for today, but ours was 41, so that puts me at least 13 degrees colder than you today. Very weird.

Yeah, hit 54.7°F today, forecast highs busted and I expect the same for tomorrow. Our forecast lows are pretty warm too. While most places in the southeast will be dropping below freezing tonight, we're forecast to stay above. Sub-freezing temps aren't even on the 7-day forecast. I guess we're far NE enough of the main cold airmass. Insane how my temps are much warmer than practically anyone in the southeast. This can happen during the summer where the NE has warmer temps in heat waves, but it's rare in the winter/spring.

37.8°F Partly Cloudy

55º Cloudy.

Can't wait until this Saturday, where the high temp for Long Beach is expected to reach close to 70º!
Wow, I noticed this happen in your area before, where TWC and the NWS have completely different forecasts for you. TWC has you nearing 70 and sunny, be wary of the sea breeze though, and the NWS has you in the upper 50's with a slight chance of rain. Strange.

36.0°F Unknown Precip (probably rain but could be snow)

39.6°F Light Rain/Snow/Windy

If there was less confluence working against this system I would have blizzard conditions right now. Oh well, this is the last snow of this winter so might as well enjoy it. Sad that the winter has to end like this.  :(

47.2°F Mostly Cloudy

Went out for a tan B) (Yeah I tan outside almost every month of the year), and I was hot! It can be 20 degrees out, but with that March sun, it makes it feel like it's 80°F.

Seeing how much weather is dominating the conversation lately even on here, would you all be interested in having the weather boards expanded to allow you all more room for model discussions, forecasting, or even perhaps a weather trivia game or forecasting contest?  I gave everyone ideas in that thread several months ago, but I haven't seen anyone else try it, and I really don't want to do it all by myself.  So, I'd like some help from my team and from all of you with thoughts.

That would be a great idea! I'd love that.

Lets take at a look at here. We aren't looking at any warm temps until the end of March, early April. Here, when we get huge warm spells, are limited to inland places. Sea breezes lower our temps during significant warm spells. So even if it does warm up, a sea breeze will drop the temps. While inland places would be in the 70's all day with light winds, here we'll have 70's for an hour, then a gusty sea breeze will pick up, drop us back into the low 60's. Severe weather? Here? Forget about it. The ocean ruins every opportunity for severe weather until June. April and May, you'll never get severe weather. The cold ocean will annihilate the convective cell of any thunderstorm. Snow lover? Forget it? While inland places will be buried, we'll be warm and rain, or we'll be snow but not accumulate. Get the idea? Spring weather sucks here. The only time it is good is after a frontal pass with a NW wind to counter-act the sea breeze and actually give us a warm day. Oh and sometimes if it's a cold spring, good luck finding the sun.

NWS Forecast:

Overnight Clear, with a low around 29. Northwest wind around 11 mph.

Sunday Sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind around 10 mph.

Sunday Night A chance of snow, mainly after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Northeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday Snow likely, mainly after 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Breezy, with a northeast wind 13 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Monday Night Snow likely, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 32. Breezy, with a north wind 14 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Tuesday Partly sunny, with a high near 44.

Tuesday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.

Wednesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.

Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.

Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 35.

Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.

45.7°F Partly Cloudy/Windy

Once again big separation in the models in regards to Monday's storm. NAM and SREF's show a blizzard while the GFS shows a dusting to an inch. We'll see what the Euro does, I hope the GFS is wrong.

I'm upgrading my LG Thrill 4G right now to Ice Cream Sandwich, it's current OS is 2.2.2 (Frozen Yogurt). According to the upgrade program, just downloading the update will take 2 hours, and wont be done until 11:00PM, then it has to install, then I got to re-install all my apps and settings, so I'll probably end up going to bed around 12:00am, only to find myself struggling to fall asleep. I'll probably fall asleep at 1:00am only to wake back up at 6:00am. 5 hours of sleep, no problem, one day last week I only had 3 hours of sleep, mainly because that night it took 4 hours to fall asleep. I don't know why I've been struggling to fall asleep lately. I've been stressed, along with my depression and loneliness.
