Low surface relative humidities of 25 to 35 percent and northwest
winds gusting up to 25 mph at times will allow fine fuels such
as grasses and brush to continue drying.

These factors will create an enhanced threat for the spread of
wildfires from mid afternoon into early this evening.

40.3°F Clear/Windy

Red Flag Warning expired. Temps are going to be cold tonight. NWS has us down to 25°F, likely to break the record low of 29°F. Could even break the all-time monthly record low at KISP where they are closer to the radiational cooling zones and could drop below 23°F, which is the coldest April temp ever. Might even stay above freezing like the last night because of the strong winds. Hopefully this will be winter's final blast.

That time of the year again. Except this year our precip is running only slightly below normal.

... Enhanced threat for the spread of wildfires late this morning
into early this evening...

Limited rainfall over the last several days... combined with
frequent wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph and low relative humidity
values today... will allow fine fuels such as grasses and brush to
continue drying. These factors will create an enhanced threat for
the spread of wildfires late this morning into early this evening.

50.2°F Overcast

Looks like starting on 4/7, we'll have a prolonged warm spell. 60's, 70's, and 80's, and dare I say 90 in some spots.

High of 61°F at my PWS, 58°F at KISP. Then the sea breeze kicked in, jacked up the dew point and dropped the temps.
