Today was pretty extreme here.
It was in the 50's this morning, now only in the mid 30's  :brr:
Look at all the things that happened today here,

• High Winds up to 55mph
• Squall Lines of Heavy Rain
• 20 degree temperature drop
• Snow Showers
• Sunny Skies
• Cloudy Skies
• Cold Windchill values

Wasn't surprised that it snowed. I thought it would anyway.

44°F and Cloudy
We had our first thunderstorm of the year today.
It wasn't too windy today, strangely the top wind gusts for the day here on LI reached upwards of 50mph.
Weak!
But tomorrow's winds are going to be even stronger.  :tropicalstorm:

Just took a glance at the latest GFS run, I saw something crazy. Now before I get criticized, I really don't think this will happen. The latest run shows a sub-tropical low forming over the Bahamas and moving up the east coast. Now for a sub-tropical low to form around this time of year isn't all too rare. In fact, they have affected the east coast during the winter before. The Blizzard of 2006 was a sub-tropical low when it formed, then it hit an arctic front to the north, making more extra-tropical. This is also why the storm was debated whether it was tropical or not, because the storm formed a perfect eye, very similar that of a major hurricane. Although this model run doesn't show an arctic front. I don't believe this will happen, but hey, you can't rule it out!

I agree. The government is already over spending on many things as it is. Plus adding more days to the school year probably won't help as for there wouldn't be more curriculum left to teach by the end of the school year. If anything, it should be the quality of the education that matters. Quality over Quantity.

Wow, this was an interesting morning for my parents.. at about 4 AM this morning, my brother called our house to say he needed them (my parents) to go get him. His location was I-75 NB just a few feet south of Florida State Highway 574 (Dr MLK Blvd to locals in the area). Some idiot abandoned a vehicle in the far right-hand lane of I-75, and another car didn't see it coming, so that car hit it. In the long run, the abandoned vehicle's bumper went loose into the roadway, and my brother couldn't avoid it, so his upper-right tire is now flat. :( My parents did not return home until another 2 hours, several police reports got filed, and my brother's vehicle got towed home via AAA service.

Wow. Hope everyone's alright and your brother's car gets fixed
