Alright, I got it. I guess the question now is...how much do you want on the video? (IE: ID, LF Intro, LF, post-LF commercial; etc.)

I actually caught several commercials prior to 8:57. Hehe, I didn't want to mess up by waiting too late.

Wish You Were here is not on the playlist.
My bad. It is Shine on You Crazy Diamond, off of Wish You Were Here. Myself being a huge Pink Floyd fan, I should've noticed my error sooner.

Different reasons can apply here, Windows have in general a very poor capture accellerator, no matter what you use (WMC, WMM) you will get a poor video quality and capture rate.

I have had this problem too, use something that isnt made by Windows such as Ulead or whats ever came with your tuner software. Also dont edit using Windows Movie Maker, it reduces quality and frame rates.

What would you suggest editing with? Also, my tuner did not come with software that I know of...it was directly installed by Dell. I've been looking at SnapStream Beyond TV. DO you have an opinion on this software?

Another factor may be my conversion software. Microsoft, being the idiots they are, built WMC to save files as DVR-MS...but didn't update WMM to accept this file type. I'm using a DVR-MS to MPEG converter...which may decrease quality.

My videos continue to look sub-par after editing with WMM. I don't know whether it's the setting I'm exporting with (1.0 Mbps), or if its Media Center's TV Tuner. Can anyone provide help? I've got plenty of hard drive space, and I'm also going to purchase an external hard drive for certain purposes as well...freeing up more space.

Thanks.

I assume the checks are beside songs heard?

I haven't heard Wish You Were Here yet...that would be a great one to play.

...annd here's my video from the Trammell outage and IntelliSTAR error extravaganza on Monday evening.

(If you need the actual file uploaded to the site, just notify me Gary)

I'm not very happy with the quality of these videos. I believe I'm going to try exporting the video from WMM on a different setting.

Edit: New link, new video. I re-edited the video, and saved it at a different setting. Hopefully this improves the quality.

FYI, Gary, I just uploaded the Weather Ventures file to the site. It was more of a test to see if the upload form was working for me...which it is, flawlessly.
