IntelliStar 2 Discussion / Thinking about coding an IntelliStar 2 HD emulator

I think I'm going to start coding an IntelliStar 2 emulator with Visual Studio. I might only share this with people that I trust and people that help me with this project. This might be quite a tricky thing to do since the current IntelliStar has a lot of animations and stuff. If you want to help me I'll appreciate it.

I'm too addicted to Local on the 8s/IntelliStar that I would like to ask this.. Anyway has anyone like a normal person who doesn't work for TWC or a Cable Company ever gotten a WeatherStar or other unit? Also do you guys think there's a chance that Comcast would give me an IntelliStar that they aren't using? :p

Today, The Weather Channel uploaded a video about Weatherscan. Simply call 1-800-710-1922. Here's the video they added:

WeatherScan. Local. Always.

So if you don't have WeatherScan then call so The Weather Channel can add WeatherScan for your Cable/Satellite Company.
