TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Comcast Sucks.

Yes, those were what I was referring to. Comcast has offered us to purchased their converters to get the exp. basic channels that were removed from the analog feed.

Starting Nov. 1, we can get one converter for free. Not sure how much additional ones cost, we would need three for this house.

I never heard of headends having two Weatherscans from different locations. For a few months though in 2004 and again in 2007, Weatherscan here was on two channels (119, 120), but they were both from the same location.

Yes, the Bensalem headend has had Weatherscan and GSN on basic for quite sometime now. Comcast of Cherry Hill however has the same exact channel lineup as your headend in Audubon. The only difference is the IntelliStar ID# (mine is 21872).

I only have Expanded Basic cable here. I actually just checked Comcast's website and GSN is available on digital expanded basic channel 179.

I just hope Weatherscan will still be on basic 120 when I install converters to my TV's...

When I get digital converters for my TV's, would I be able to view GSN on basic cable again on channel 179?

I suppose it's worth mentioning that some of the Chris Geith songs (which are Network songs) that have played on TWC since February 2008 are also on that website.

Good, I was actually just going to suggest that. Now I will probably be spending almost all of my time here than at TWCC, even for classic discussion. B)

Matt claimed to me that you no longer cared about the "agreement" you guys made, though I don't recall you ever saying that.

Matt told me that he wants to arrange the forums his way regardless whether others think its fair or not. I just hope this doesn't decrease activity here. That was not a good idea, IMO.

Programming and Graphics / Re: Old set prior to HD launch?
« on: October 19, 2008, 11:14:28 AM »
We're talking about the physical set components here...
Ah, I thought we were talking about the studio itself. Well, in that case the set pieces were likely either sold or recycled.

9223
There is no Weatherscan HD, and AFAIK no plans have been made yet.

Wow, I just saw a Notify commercial for the first time in years! It was the 2005 version, but with the current logo.
