I'm at my grandparents brand new house in Sea Isle City, NJ right now. It's deserted here this time of year! I took a walk along the boardwalk and it was neat seeing nobody there and all of the stores and condos shuttered.

I could tell that place was gonna go soon. The last time (and only time) I was in that location was in September 2007 to get a new optical drive. They weren't as stocked as the one I usually went to (which closed in 2006 or early 07), and there seemed to be less employees in there. It just didn't look as nice as other locations I've been to.

It would be for a severe weather warning and the playlist would go something like this:Affiliates had the option to show that or the full local forecast. IIRC, my headend chose to have the full-core local forecast looping with the severe weather crawl. It was also like that with the IntelliStar version 1, up until April 2005 when it showed only the radar (a few months until this was no longer an option).
Title Screen->Intro Screen->Local Bulletin->Local Doppler Radar
That would last as long as the scroller was running at the bottom.
Do you also plan on implementing other themes the real XL had, like the mountains, southwest, urban, and oceans?
