Local Forecast / Re: Feburary 2007 playlist
« on: December 10, 2008, 08:55:24 PM »
Hi, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately we do not have this playlist since this was lost by TWC. However, we do have an unofficial, incomplete playlist here. Perhaps you can find the song you're looking for there.

Wow, what a warm day. I checked the weather 6AM this morning and was shocked to see it was 62º already! I went from wearing a heavy coat and gloves to the bus yesterday morning to a short sleeve shirt and no coat today! With the humidity it felt more like 70's than 60's.
Of course, on Friday we'll be back in the 30's with rain and snow showers...

Yeah, I had a similar issue happen to me once back in 2006. I was watching my Mount Holly IntelliStar, then suddenly the feed switched and I saw the Camden IntelliStar instead.

Weatherscan Discussion / Re: Weatherscan Topic
« on: December 08, 2008, 08:55:14 PM »
Anyone ever seen a Weatherscan that has "Your Local Forecast" instead of the city name on the top?
Also, on this screenshot the radar is the only thing that shows on the top, and nothing else coming up. Is this a unit that shows the Radar 24/7 (except for the 2 minute LFs every 15 minutes)?
Seems that this Weatherscan is even more screwed up than Frankfort's! Glad I don't have to deal with any of this...

Most likely yes, on the HD feed. That's how it's like in most HD simulcasts.

I remember the day when WPVI-TV went HD back in July 2006. IIRC, they were the first in the area to become HD. I'm surprised it took so long for WCAU-TV to become HD, their main competitors had been in HD for quite sometime.

Also, how about logos for the first day of each season?

IMO, since there are several national holidays (Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, etc) we should just have one patriotic logo for use with all such holidays that has an American flag background or something. Just my two cents..
