Meaning even if it's a new unit, the STAR ID wouldn't change as it would be the same configuration?No, I'm pretty sure it's based on the unit itself and not the configuration. Thus, you'll probably have a different ID# (likely starting with 28 if it's a new unit). Depending on whether a configuration on one broken STAR can transfer to a new one, you'll might have the exact same or slightly different configuration.
I wonder if my IntelliStar is "broken" too, which is why I'm getting Burlington's instead of Mount Holly. Might be some hardware failure or something.
