but where on the east coast? Is it just the entire seaboard that can view it? I never get luck seeing these eclipses in southern NJ
The east coast is not going to be able to see it because the sun will set too soon. It's mostly the central and western states that will be able to see it.

General Discussion / Fonts help

I'm planning on doing a project and was wondering if anyone knew the name of the font or at least have an idea of what the font is used for NBC Weather Plus (including the title bars, temperatures, city names, L-bar fonts etc)? Thanks for any help...

Here's a pic in case you need it (sorry for bad quality)

Won't be visible here in the east coast, the sun will set by the time the eclipse would reach here.

Leave a comment on that page as final feedback is being taken until May 18.  I get the feeling we're seeing the final preview with a full release to come sometime soon.
Yes I have submitted feedback on that. Don't you also agree though that those icons are a bit pixelated? They just don't stand out well for some reason.

Also, I am NOT a fan of the new radar page. Government agency websites are supposed to be simple, but the radar pages are a little complex for easy, quick viewing tbh.

Haha yeah that doesn't make sense.. I also noticed how they have a hook on what's on the next showing of WUWA during the LOT8s openers. I haven't seen them advertise WUWA this much since late 2009. I guess new graphics always means lots of new advertising? :P

Interesting, I was thinking of job alternatives just last night. Great minds think alike!

In the event that meteorology wouldn't work out for me, I'd be working as a technician at either ThyssenKrupp Elevator or Simplex Grinnell fire alarms.
Good job in planning ahead.. I was clueless in what I wanted to pursue after high school and to this day I'm still in between majors right now. Initially I went for communications to get a job in broadcasting, but it was realized that I could not handle all the writing involved (English is not my strong point). Plus the broadcasting field is highly competitive and hard to land in these days. Now I'm most definitely going to settle in an IT major of sorts, either CIS or computer science. If I do decide to transfer to a university, then I'll probably minor in a natural science. But right now those plans are far from being put together, as I'll likely be staying in community for another 2-3 years or more... only taking 9-10 credit hours at a time in the spring and fall and am working part time throughout the year.

This isn't a TWC song, but the music heard in this Lot8s intro from May 2010 I heard in a Expedia commercial that featured Molly Shannon.
I also heard that song in a local commercial here. BTW, that song was also used in those climate shorts on TWC that Bill Nye hosted back in 2009.
