And Mike Seidel was on Weekend Outlook today.

Wow, that has got to be the first time he hosted WO since the apprentice OCMs started hosting it in 2005.

I also don't like it when Matt does his round of account deletions. I noticed he even deleted Ficara and former OCM Dale Dockus's account!

To sum it up in three words-bad decision making. Matt no longer seems to put much thought into anything he does. Anyone recently try to navigate the site? Yeah, you can't. There IS NO navigation! That's a prime example of a very bad decision on Matt's part. And he's made a number of bad decisions on the forum as well.

Yeah, when he first renovated the site it took me several minutes just to find the videos section.

TWC Today News / Re: Topic Title Issue

« on: February 14, 2009, 04:02:41 PM »

I didn't even know you could do such a thing. Can anyone change the topic title or just the person who started the topic?

It's not really the topic title you are changing, but the title of the post when you make a reply (where it says subject). Even though the topic title doesn't change, the new title of the post appears on the board index which makes people think the topic had changed. I very seldom do this, usually only if I do a weather report.

As I said in the General TWC thread, ICHT/FFN will supposedly air on 2-4 PM weekends too, I just saw a commercial for that.

I just saw a commercial for ICHT and FFN airing from 2-4PM today. Could this just be a mistake, or is the 2-hour afternoon block really going to air on weekends too? I certainly hope not. Then again, with the recent layoffs I'm not surprised.

I see that annotations editor no longer pops up automatically when you view your videos. That editor was very annoying.

This makes me think she was demoted to fill-in, like Rich was once Dave Schwartz was let go. It further speculates that it's possible if there's more cuts, Sharon may be the next to go.

Which leaves Paul Goodloe the only OCM left that has been with Evening Edition (weekday or weekend) since it launched in 2001.

Didn't Drug Emporium go out of business?

Yeah, they were acquired by some other company in the early 2000s and all of the stores closed by the end of 2003.

So I was browsing my middle school's page on Rate my Teachers, and apparently there was a teacher there named Kathryn Ball. (Kathy Ball comes to mind...)

I remember in the 1990's, all we had were mostly Drug Emporium and Eckerd stores. By 2001, lots of CVS's and Walgreens started popping up, which caused Drug Emporium and later Eckerd to suffer.
