Well, my desktop PC crapped out this morning. When I turn it on, it gets to the blue HP splash screen (before it even starts to load the operating system), and then a constant beeping starts. Won't get any further than that.

Sounds like some sort of a hardware failure or issue of some sort, which wouldn't surprise me since this machine is over 5 years old.

5 years? That's not that old IMO. Are you sure everything is in tact in there? My computer made a beeping sound once because I didn't have the memory sticks in their slots all the way.

I saw in the news this morning that there's one station in Kansas selling gas at 30 cents a gallon to celebrate their 50th anniversary.  That's lower than the cost of gas when they opened, which was 50 cents.
