TWC might soon make a standard version of the HD Star. After all, another STAR may be due soon, since the XL was the newest STAR for only 5-6 years, and how technology had changed fast since work on the IntelliStar began in 2003.

...or since the blue LDL replaced the black one in 2003....

You mean 2008, right?

How do you guys record videos in 16:9? I've been trying to do this with my tuner by setting the screen's resolution to 16:9, but the videos on YouTube still come out as 4:3.

So finally, after 10 months overdue to take the driving test, I've scheduled it. I'm taking it on Saturday, June 6. Hopefully I'll pass it this one time (I've been driving with just a permit since January '08, and was eligible to take the test in July '08).

They're showing the same episode of WWCH today that aired last Saturday. Wasn't expecting that since the show's been around for two seasons now.

In my school, you don't have to take an exam if you have a 92.5 or above avg for the year or if you have As all 4 marking periods.

That only applies to seniors here.

Here, finals last four days, then after that is the last day when we do basically nothing, so I don't bring anything with me that day. In fact, three of my eight classes don't have exams, so I probably won't be doing anything for four straight hours on June 11, and the last half of June 16.

Caught on Camera, judging by the name, looks like a carbon copy of Full Force Nature.

Yah, why have two shows about thing same thing on the same network?

Because apparently the folks at NBC is more satisfied with having their own programming air on TWC.

It Could Happen Tomorrow was produced by Atlas Media, and this new show is by NBC.

I think it's just a test. It seems they're going to make it permanent. I wish regular jazz was back, soundtrack and chill sounds awkward on TWC.

I actually like what TWC is doing with their playlists now. As long as there is at least some jazz on there like there is now, I'm happy.

General Discussion / Re: Your class schedule...

« on: May 14, 2009, 08:28:47 PM »

Well after testing, we are back on a normal schedule, though we have to stay an extra 30 minutes on to each day to make up so we can get out on June 12 rather than June 15.

1st period- Advanced Mathematics
2nd period- Language Arts
3rd period- Social Studies
4th period- Science
5th period- Health/PE
6th period- Team Sports
Extended Period (7th Period)- Channel One News Discussion period

You're staying an extra 30 minutes? That doesn't make sense, I'd rather end school three days later rather than making my already stressful school days even longer. It would also avoid getting the bus schedule messed up since most buses go to multiple schools around the area per day.

My old middle school in Pennsylvania used to broadcast Channel One in their classrooms. My current high school has their own morning show.

Oh man, I very rarely am able to watch YWT, so I won't be seeing A&B much anymore.
