Wow, his style has gotten a lot better in the past year or so. In a recording I have of him from May 2008, he was a lot more serious and was never like Dave.

Well, we're not the only people against this idea. TWC posted an announcement about this on Facebook and they've received tons of complaints about this already. This new selection shouldn't last long...

« on: May 30, 2009, 12:15:34 AM »Okay, now it's back again. When will this buggy channel ever get perfect? Now if only those people at WCAU look into fixing that satellite problem that I have prompted them to fix many times. They finally fixed the satellite issue this weekend.

Awhile back WPVI's AccuWeather channel changed from "Action News Now" to "6ABC WeatherNow," possibly to avoid confusion to viewers who thought it was supposed to be an instant news channel, not just weather.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion
« on: May 30, 2009, 12:03:18 AM »My guess is that Kim Perez will probably take Jen's place while she's gone since Kim used to be on FO...I don't know for sure,though..I'm thinking they'll just have one of the Day Planner/Weekend OCM's sub for Jen. That's how it was with Marshall for a few months until Kevin started working YWT everyday. Kim isn't one of them, she's on the evening shift now.

Well, today we did basically nothing academic at school whatsoever:
First period is study skills everyday.
Math: Apparently everyone passed the HSPA testing so he gave us a free period.
Physics: Watched a MSNBC movie on rollercoasters.
English: It was just a reading day.
History: We were supposed to have a test today but it was pushed to Monday because of some religious holiday today so we watched a documentary about the '70s.
Spanish: Watched another movie.
I don't have Phys Ed on Fridays so that was just a study hall.
13th period is study skills everyday.
Overall, it was pointless to go to school today.

Local Forecast / Re: Satellite LF Sightings
« on: May 28, 2009, 04:58:59 PM »I agree with you. Do you remember back in September 2007, that there'd always be a satellite lf/trammell at the 8:38pm LF?There wasn't always a satellite forecast at that time, but yes I remember hearing Trammell. It lasted through at least mid-October.

There's still a lot of common names they've haven't used yet for named storms, yet they decide to come up with weird names I've never heard of before (like the ones they replaced the retired names last year).

« on: May 28, 2009, 04:06:57 PM »Just out of curiosity, how did you and Mike find out the June playlist in advance? If it's a secret source or something then don't tell me. I couldn't find it under the music tab on weather.com.I emailed Melissa Medori, who works at the public relations department. For the email, send me a PM.

I know this won't happen anytime soon, but is TWC capable of buying itself out of NBC to become an independent channel?

They haven't played Scott Ward in awhile either. I hope the music they're playing this month isn't staying for awhile.
Viewers do like smooth jazz on their LOT8's, not rock, which was why TWC released those CD's.

I have a teacher whose name is Katrina, though she usually goes by Kate. There's also a girl in my Spanish class who chose Katrina as her Spanish name (we all picked our own Spanish names in our class, mine is Miguel).
