General Discussion / Re: The Front Porch

No plans yet. I'll probably go to the NJ shore this summer like I always do, but I also want to go somewhere more exciting than the shore. Last year I went to Scranton and Spring Lake, NJ (near Belmar/Toms River), two new places I haven't been before.

« on: June 07, 2009, 02:21:23 PM »I accidently posted this in General TWC Discussion already lol, but...My school's seniors (class of '10) are going to have theirs held at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden next year.
My senior prom was last night. It was amazing. We had it at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

General Discussion / Re: The Front Porch
« on: June 07, 2009, 11:43:37 AM »ugh I don't like parallel parking. even my dad still has issues parking our car along the curb!Since when do you drive? I thought you said you were waiting until you're 17 so you don't have to do that six hour thing or whatever you do in NJ.
Anyway, my examiner was the supervisor of the DMV center, who only fills in when someone else is on lunch break. My driving instructor said that if I had one of the other examiners, I should of passed. Another reason why I didn't pass was probably because I was sitting in the car in line for like an hour (DMV is always packed on Saturdays).

Didn't pass... I was nervous and therefore made some of my turns too sharp, and was shaking the wheel a little bit. I did great on parallel parking though. My next try is on June 26.

Local Forecast / Re: Independent Music Removal
« on: June 05, 2009, 06:19:29 PM »Yes i would like to see that but, you never know if TWC wanted this direction in the 1st place?Matt mentioned that according to TWC's book from 2002, Landmark didn't like the ideas NBC had planned for TWC when they made an offer to buy it back in the 1980's. Last year I guess they didn't have a choice who to sell it to because by the end of June 2008 NBC was the only company interested in buying it when Landmark put TWC up for sale.

Okay, TWC better sell themselves out soon. I'm sure no one at TWC likes what NBC is doing to them.
I'm just
