It's always been like that. Only on ywt wuwa and the :28 lf after weather classroom on weekends will you get 2 min flavors
No, YWT didn't. Only WUWA and Weather Classroom did.

No changes on DP, however the 1 minute forecasts now have the almanac instead of two metro forecast pages.

That isn't what I meant.. I never realized that SeaTek was an E/I program.
I believe it was modified to be an E/I program, because full 1:30 and 2 minute local forecasts still aired every 15 minutes.

726
Aren't they supposed to air educational programming at that block? :o
In the past they've only aired it for a half hour from 4-4:30am ET, but this morning they ran it a full hour instead.

So I DVR'd TWC this morning to get my fullfill of my favorite 2.5 hour weekend morning weather forecast block, only to see that SeaTek ran a full hour from 4-5am ET this morning. What happened? :(

My Secret Garden has a Magnificent view of the sky at night, you'd think you're taking a Roundtrip to the Stars. :)

Within the last two years, soft drinks like sodas and sugary teas have had those "X calories per serving" badge on the bottom of the label. But I've noticed in the last month or so, almost every non-alcoholic drink has these now, including water, unsweetened black tea, and even milk and other drinks high in nutrition. I understand why sodas have these, but water and milk? There's nothing in these drinks that sodas have, like high sugar and carbs content, etc. So why put the calorie badges on them?

That's why I mentioned a while back I thought it had a Chet Atkins vibe to it because it reminded me of "Rocky Top" a little bit.
It also kinda reminds me of "Walk Don't Run" by the Ventures from August 2010.

There is a big difference, however, between a recession and a correction, which is what is most likely happening. Every few months after a big jump in stocks, prices usually take a 10-15% drop over the period of a few weeks - investors call this a correction. Yes, I expect stocks to continue falling for another week or two, before another long term rebound occurs.
That's precisely what I think is happening.

Just because gas prices are falling doesn't mean we're going into another recession... the stocks are still going up.

General Weather Chat / Re: What's the weather in your area?
« on: June 06, 2012, 11:14:05 PM »
66°F Cloudy

For those of you feeling too chilled from the upper level trough in the East, wait until this weekend for a big turnaround.
I'm enjoying the cooler weather though. :)

61° Clear
