The 1:28 AM EDT LF (with my favorite overnite song, SOYCD) began with a satellite LF for a second. What is strange is that the LDL cued before the STAR

Those clips were actually from Paramus, a bit north of Teterboro. The cable company, US Cable, upgraded to an IntelliStar in February 2006.
Speaking of vacations, I'll be going to Portland tomorrow. I'll be sure to capture some more clips of the IS and weatherscan.
