i already contacted the star team on Wednesday and no reply from them or the feedback forums. i just think its funny how a rumor like this could start an uproar 

A lot of people in that department were cut and those who weren't are more busy then ever, so don't expect a speedy reply. Why do you think they haven't been on here since October? Besides whether its 1, 1:30, or 2 minutes. At least you still get your forecast. Be grateful the LOT8s is still around.

Local forecast update must be delayed due to the extended coverage for winter storm luna. Hopefully the 2 minute locals will return tomorrow at 11:08am ET.

I can assure you that it was a false rumor.

I have 102 processes on mine and no issues either. What CPU and GPU does your lappy have? I'd imagine those touch screen laptops aren't as powerful as traditional notebooks.

Banned for my new schedule of having classes in the morning then work in the afternoons everyday is much easier for me than last fall where it was very inconsistent.

I have TurboTax ready to go and just need my W-2 form to arrive before I can do mine.

Never really bothered with commercial tax software. I just download the EZ form from the IRS website. Pretty easy if you ask me.

Thanks for the advice guys, I really appreciate it. I have never heard of the WFO before until now.

The WFOs are the local offices that serve small regions and issue our forecasts, watches/warnings etc. i.e. ours is in Mount Holly, NJ.
