IntelliStar 2 Discussion / Re: General IS2 Discussion

No IS2 in Philly yet. You would think we would be one of the first Comcast markets to get them since they're based out of here... good ole Comcast mentality.  :whistling2: :P

I didn't read your PM and didn't respond, plus you are not the first person to send me a PM here in nearly 15 months.
I didn't send you a PM more recently than that.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Is cable TV going downhill?
« on: March 20, 2013, 10:31:01 PM »
I just noticed, earlier this month truTV has cut back their daytime weekday court trial coverage from six to two hours, from 9-11AM. Won't be surprised if it's phased out completely soon...

As long as they still air their Cops marathons I'll be happy. That's all I've ever really watched on that channel. :P

Everything Else Classic TWC / Re: Debut of TWC

I didnt want to post a whole topic for this, but It has been exactly ten years since I stumbled accidentally onto TWC Classics, when it was called "Matt's Guide To The Weather Channel" on 3/10/2003 at night
April 24, 2005 for me! :D It was a cloudy and chilly Sunday afternoon and I accidentally discovered the site while searching for Weatherscan images. The rest of the day I was hooked on that site watching WSXL clips.

McDonald's fish McBites.   :pinch:
Ironically, I was at mickey D's for lunch this afternoon and that's what I had. Don't order it, it's not as good as it sounds.
I heard they were nothing special. Never was really a fan of McD's fish sandwich either, BK's is much better.

Lowest I've seen was $3.31 in NJ, $3.59 or so in PA.

My Norton subscription expires in a week and I'm debating if it's worth spending the extra $60 to renew it. Has anyone tried Microsoft security essentials? Is it any good especially on Windows 8?
Stay away from Norton. All it does is hogs up your computer's memory, and it's very difficult to remove from your computer. Microsoft security essentials isn't bad. There are also good free antivirus programs out there that are TONS better than Norton. Google around and see what's best for you

Local Forecast / Re: General LF Discussion
« on: March 16, 2013, 09:10:10 PM »
Are they only running the 90 second LF at :28 & :58 after on live programming?
Seems all other times it's only 60 seconds which seems very short for a LF.
Sunrise Weather is still all 1:30 LFs, and I think Weekend View as well.

I think the purpose of having semester break in the 2nd/3rd week of March is because its halfway through the semester for most colleges. I liked having mine the week following easter in high school though despite easter being anywhere from mid March to late April.

I'm applying for a part time job at Target while I'm in school imp. I need one so I can have M-O-N-E-Y to save up for a C-A-R imp. I don't want to be dependent on mass transit forever, I really want to start driving so I can go places well outside of city limits which our mass transit doesn't do imp.
The mass transit system here is worthless unless you're almost completely broke imp.
