General Discussion / Re: Gas prices in your area

You got to add your state sales tax to that amount you see in the stock quote.  Remember, it's the price of gasoline without any taxes.
I'm well aware of that. NJ's taxes are relatively low though.

It is $3.11 here now.

I know I'm probably one of a quickly dwindling number of people who still own a Wii and enjoy the voting and Mii contests, but when I found out today that the WiiConnect24 service will be shut down at the end of June my reaction was a mix of sadness and shock.

I've only owned my Wii for 8 months, but it's the little things that one grows to enjoy, and I've really enjoyed these little features.  If nothing else, even on my busiest days, I've always been able to find a few minutes to spend voting, making a Mii for the contest, or even just reading the news.  In about 9 weeks I won't be able to do that anymore.
Wait, they're getting rid of their wifi service? :o

Somebody should seriously get around to making a fully functional XL emulator. The nostalgia is killing me now...  :footinmouth:

It defeats the whole purpose of having HD cameras when the image is compressed.
I thought you said you liked those graphics when they came out....

I actually wouldn't mind having no traditional LOT8s and just have programming with the 30% LDL and LDA (outside of maybe WUWA/Morning Rush). That way all of our weather information is all in our fingertips. As it is the 16% LDL has incomplete information on both IS (especially) and IS2 for it to display on its own. Also programming was still in 16:9 HD with these graphics as well.

Have you guys ever noticed that on the text based forecast, when the high or low temperature ends in a "0" or a "5", it will read "around" or "near", for example, "High around 60" or "Low near 50." That's a pattern I've been noticing for several years.
Yes, I've noticed that since the XL era. In fact, TWC used to always use the terms "around" and "near" for all temperature readings until July 2002.

I hope they don't do the same thing with The Middle. I know ratings on that show have slipped in the last year or two.

There are plenty of good trade schools in the area. College isn't the only ticket to success, especially with just a degree imp
That's what I have been looking at imp

Wow, I thought I was the only one who liked the LDA! :o I really liked how they had different LDA/LDL formats based on time of day too.
