Thanks, Jim! It looks nice. While I don't have a Weatherscan, I do have two local channels that compete to give me the same look 24/7: WeatherNation from the ABC affiliate in Lynchburg, VA and a supplemental weather channel that resembles the old NBC Weather Plus from the NBC affiliate in Roanoke, VA.What is WeatherNation like in your area? Does it feature any local content in addition to the network itself?
So basically TWC HD will have the closest Metropolitan Area for a Headend?I'm curious about this too based on that video. Martin do you know anything about this?
The tropical storm conditions possible icons? I've seen them for as long as I can remember.Whoa! I have never seen something like this on NWS forecasts before; is this new?Nope they have done it in the past. Not sure if every WFO implemented it so it may be new for your area. I recall seeing them at least for the past year or so here. Pretty nifty idea!
Hi guys, I know this topic is old (and that you all may be well aware of what I'm about to say) but I wanted to tell you all that I just recently saw both of Ficara's 1999 and Christmas CD's on Amazon, and even though they say out of print if you contact her she will make them for you and make them available on Amazon. Just bought both a couple days ago myself. So glad to find these, I had no idea she had made them available!I've had her tapes since 2007, not long after she found the masters which she lost from a move. Been meaning to save up for her CDs since they would be much more bearable to listen to on my ipod lol.
I'm glad to hear that it was just a simple fix, Jim. I would consider thinking about either a new or a decent used car in the near future when you can afford it as 11 years is getting pretty old for something more serious that could break down.11 years is nothing if you have a car known to be reliable (any Japanese make, IMHO), and on top of that taking care of it by doing routine maintenance. Do this and you'll have a car that will last practically forever. I've had my car for 16 years and almost 200,000 miles and have worked hard on it to keep her healthy. That's why she still runs like new in one piece to this day.
