How is Gaston pronounced? I've always heard it pronounced "gas-ten," but Heather pronounced it something like "Gas-tooun" earlier today...

At one point earlier they had us in for tropical storm conditions possible with winds up to 30 mph, but they have since changed it to just a few showers. Why must these storms always pull away from me?

Hello STAR team,

I know when hurricanes are approaching, you usually enable the zoomed out satellite feature so viewers can see the hurricane better. I was wondering if you could possibly do this to the east coast STARs for approaching Hurricane Earl. This is an example of what I'm talking about:

I still have iTunes 8.0 on my computer... I don't like the interface of the iTunes store in the newer versions because when you do a search, it doesn't just list all the songs titles anymore, but instead you have to click on all the albums, which is more time consuming.

Yes, the shear associated with a hurricane can affect weaker ones, and can even absorb it. A perfect example was in 2005 when Tropical Storm Alpha was absorbed by Wilma.
