That's excellent, but how much of  promotion or "demotion" is this really? I watch GMA every morning and have been watching it since 5th grade and am quite shocked to see him leave ABC for a "NBC" branded station like TWC. He must be crazy to leave a $3M a year job at ABC with TWC unless something happened with ABC lately.
If the new job offered a higher salary, then that's likely why he took the job. It also doesn't look good on you when you reject an offer, especially in a highly competitive field like broadcasting.

There is nothing wrong with the current AM show which actually does weather and does not need any changes.
I feel bad for whoever is going to be kicked off the current AM show as they don't deserve to lose the job and there are no shifts for them to go to with the reduction of live shows.
While it's not a big deal to some, this also makes the first show regularly hosted by a non AMS Meteorologist.\
The whole thing just seems unessicary to me.
Al Roker technically is a non AMS met too, his seal expired many years back.

Also keep in mind that over a decade ago there were many anchors on TWC originally weren't fully certified meteorologists until they went through TWC's apprenticeship program. Namely Dave Schwartz, Jeanetta Jones, Kristin Dodd, Marshall Seese, and Warren Madden to name a few. So this is nothing new guys.

21884. On the regional raadar, the city identifier for Baltimore is missing. On the local radar Wilmington's identifier is missing, Bryn Athyn is a bit far from its point, and Marlton should be moved just a tad to the southeast so it's in Burlington County and not Camden.

It seems the local radar bug is fixed for my star unit.
I checked this morning and am still getting the local radar, with no precip.

Did the XL have a "wintry mix to rain" icon? For some reason I faintly remember seeing one on air but don't have the icon and don't see footage of it anywhere...

Tomorrow's text forecast on the SD intellistar only shows during the evening hours (assuming there's no bulletin). Otherwise you get the hourly forecast instead.

Strange how some people are getting a transparent LDL during programming, here I'm getting the blue one.

It won't be long before the holidays are upon us again.  Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away now.
Hopefully I won't be working... otherwise there goes my Thanksgiving xD

I don't know what is up with the XL in my area. It has been looping the LF for nearly a hour and a half, with the exception of a few quick breaks where the live feed returned for a minute and then it resumed looping.  And then  a while later, it did some crazy flickering on screen that I had never seen before.
XL says "Screw Longform, I'm gonna show you the LF for a while and then be a strobe light! "
Did it loop the two minute flavor?

Looks like the entire weekend on air schedule is Weather Center, no more weekend-specific titles.

This just occurred to me so I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but what happened to all the other project subforums?
